RoboFlagger® Automated Flagger Assistance
Device
The
RoboFlagger® AFAD is a portable flagging station. It removes the traditional
human flagger from the road while providing motorists with clear guidance
through a temporary work zone. Additionally, the RoboFlagger AFAD reduces
labor costs and limits liability and exposure for personnel.

Electronics
- The PLC is a complete self-contained system that controls all functions.
The CPU, power supply, and I/O are all enclosed in the same housing. Optional
modules expand the PLC capability. Custom programming is available for special
applications.
- The 4-line operator interface display panel is connected to the PLC. It
can display up to 160 predefined “messages,” which reside in panel memory.
The predefined messages allow for custom “fine tuning” to the
individual job requirements.
