Hybrid Diesel Light Tower

WLTT-H

Download Brochure

The Wanco Hybrid Diesel Light Tower uses a rechargeable battery to power four dimmable LED lights. When battery power runs low, the diesel genset kicks in automatically to fully recharge the battery. Highly efficient performance uses far fewer engine hours, saving fuel, maintenance, labor and cost. Selectable shore power is standard.

A lithium-ion battery powers four dimmable LED lights. When the battery charge runs low, the engine starts automatically, shutting down when the battery is fully charged. The DSE digital controller allows manual on/off or automatic operation with the flip of a switch.

The rechargeable lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery powers the lights at full brightness for seven hours on a full charge. With infinite brightness adjustment from 0 to 100%, longer run time is possible on battery power alone.

The genset combines a Kubota or Mitsubishi Tier 4 diesel engine and 4kW Mecc Alte alternator. Together with the 60-gallon onboard fuel tank, hybrid operation runs up to 1400 hours before refueling with the lights at 50% brightness.

As an alternative to diesel, a shore power input switch is standard. Connect the light tower to an external AC power source to charge the battery silently.
